Real Estate can be, and has been for me, a very exciting career and large part of my life and work experience. I can honestly and proudly say that I have been actively involved in every facet of the real estate profession.
I earned my Wisconsin salesperson's license in 1998. As I entered the sales world, I also maintained my strong foothold in the legal profession as I continued my employment as a paralegal in a prominent Northeast Wisconsin law firm, in the business and real estate department. While this Wisconsin real estate experience covers over 14 years, tit was definitely not my first time in the real estate "rodeo".
Earlier in my working career, I was the office manager and paralegal (for nearly 20 years) in a general law practice in Southern California, handling numerous real estate transactions and real estate litigation matters.
In 2006, when I left the Wisconsin law firm and made Shawano my permanent residence, I joined a RE/MAX real estate franchise as an administrative assistant, then quickly moved into the office manager/broker role. During my five years with the RE/MAX office, I also spent time "in the field" listing and selling real estate along with my administrative and marketing duties.
My real estate career, in and out of the office setting, has been very successful and rewarding. Below is my first commission check for my first successful real estate closing. It was a "double-ender" (I both listed and sold the home), and my sales career was launched. There is a real thrill when you receive your first commissioin check!
